The 162th Birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, which is marked as National Youth Day was celebrated in Dev Narayan Shiksha Sansthan on 13th January ( Monday ) 2025.

 

The celebrations started with the lamp lightning and garlanding of Swami ji's portrait by our chief guest, Principal Dr. Amit Paik and HOD Mrs Anupama Chakroborty and they gave a speech on the illustrious life and deeds of Swami Vivekananda were an inspiration for all.Principal sir also said that the development of the country depends on the youth and asked the youngsters to emulate Swami Vivekananda.Our Principal Sir, addressed the students and threw light on the life of Swami Vivekananda, and he said,Vivekananda addressed the Chicago conference with such humble words, “My sisters and brothers of America”, that it touched the soul of all present there in Chicago.  HODs, Faculty members and some students also spoke on the occasion.Then B.ED and D.EL.ED students arranged a cultural programme started with a group song by all music method students which is “Murta Maheswar”, then essay reading by a B.Ed student ( Akash )followed by a group dance by B.ED and D.El.ED Student  they are Sangeeta , Keshab, Soumik, sumana, Dipa on “Eso He Jotirmoyo”, after that Duet song on “Satya Mangla” by Shilpa and Shreya, then a group song on “Prana Bhoriye Trisha Horiye” by all D.El.ED students. This programme ends with the National Anthem by all the present faculty members and students and our principal.
