Like every year in this year also our college Debnarayan shiksha sansthan Celebrated the famous occasion “Teachers’ Day’, the birth day of Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. The students greeted the teachers by flower and sandal mark on their forehead.  

For celebrating this day the students performed songs, dances, recitations etc. At first the programme was started by lighting a lamp which was set on a beautifully ornamented Alpana on the floor in presence of our Treasurer, Principal, HOD, faculties, staff members and students also. We all offered flowers to the portrait of  Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. A opening song “ Prana bharie trisha harie” was sung by a group of  students. A group dance was performed by them with a song “Mor bhabonare ki haoay matalo”. A solo song, dance, recitation also performed. The students performed very well on a beautifully decorated stage. Our teachers’ performed songs and delivered a speech too. The students arranged a play ‘Headphone round’ for the teachers and staff members. It was created an extra ordinary dimension of this programme.

The programme was ended by the speech of our respected Principal Dr. Amit Paik and respected HOD Mrs. Anupama Chakraborty.
